About Me:
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, I grew up with diverse ideas and diverse cultures. Much of the Bay Area was visually stimulating and at a young age, I wanted to capture those emotions of wonder and excitement. I got my first camera (an insta-matic Polaroid) while still in elementary school and have been in love with photography and all the emotions that go hand in hand with it ever since. Capturing the moment and the height of emotion is still my top goal after all these years.

I relocated to the Columbia River Gorge in 2005 to explore new career paths. I consider myself lucky because my urban upbringing gives me insight into gritty/edgy/moody aspects of photography and the area I live provides majestic and sweeping natural landscapes that I can also take in and draw new and a very different type of inspiration from.
